Katryna Cabrera is 12 years old and lives in Saint Johns, Florida. She started singing when she was 8 years old in churches and at various charities and local venues. When she was 10 years old, she became the lead female vocalist of the NexGen Band, promoting awareness for foster care and adoption. This is near and dear to her heart because she was adopted at 3 months old from foster care. The NexGen Band performed on the Capitol steps in Tallahassee Florida and at other venues around the State of Florida. Along with her passion for singing, Katryna keeps busy by being an honor roll student, participating in sports (volleyball, softball, and basketball), and performing with the school drumline.
